Each year, thousands of students enter our Immerse Education Essay Competition in the hopes of winning one of our coveted scholarship places.

Farah A
Farah found the essay competition through a simple Google search, and ended up winning a highly ranked partial scholarship, and attended a Medicine programme in Cambridge in the summer of 2023.
The experience enhanced her applications and CV with practical experience beyond typical academics, and making her a strong candidate in medicine.

Tal entered the Immerse Essay Competition to improve their essay-writing and English skills, driven by a passion for literature. Tal shared their approach to essay writing and their excitement upon winning a partial scholarship.

Anais joined Immerse in Sydney to study Creative Writing.
She had previously attended an Online Insights programme with Immerse, and so knew about the other courses offered. Once her school recommended the Essay Competition to her, she entered – feeling motivated by the essay question for Creative Writing.
Riya R
After submitting her essay, Riya went on to win a 100% fully-funded scholarship for the Immerse Education Medicine programme.
With Immerse, she was able to delve into both the theory and practice of Medicine, learning university-level topics and explore how internal systems function and interact with one-another.

Noor found out about the Essay Competition through her school, and didn’t think the prize of a 100% scholarship would be real. She decided to write an essay on her favourite topic anyway because she had found the question so compelling.

Kornelia decided on the business management question “What makes a good role model in business?”
After exploring positive and negative business role models such as Elon Musk and Ex Kodak CEO Kay Whitmore, Kornelia finished her essay off with an inspiring summary: “To be a good role model in business, one should possess qualities of responsibility, morality and be able to make decisions that help your company evolve. Only then can the next generation of entrepreneurs truly thrive.”
Kornelia’s essay won her a 100% fully-funded scholarship onto our two-week Business Management programme!
Pedro L
