If you are ambitious and business-minded, the Immerse business management summer programme is perfect for gaining an introduction into the study of management at the university level also and developing skills necessary for you to succeed in business. The programme is interactive, encouraging you to explore captivating real-life case studies, reflecting upon the successes and failures of various businesses.
Expert MBA tutors provide you with a fascinating insight into a broad array of management and entrepreneurship topics, such as organisational behaviour and the management of organisations, as well as finance, strategy, marketing, and leadership. Our workshops are geared towards unlocking participants’ potential, giving them the tools to prepare for the next steps of their education and future goals. Build upon existing study skills to support future university-level learning.
These workshops explore a diverse and enriching range of topics – past examples have ranged from ‘Productivity tips’ to ’21st Century Technology Skills’. We’re sure that you’ll learn something completely new. Unlike traditional schools, Immerse allows you to learn beyond the traditional curriculum.

Community Partnership with Startups Magazine
Immerse Education is pleased to be a community partner of Startups Magazine, a print and digital publication created to champion technology startups with all aspects of their entrepreneurial journeys.
Startups Magazine presents its debut digital platform where subscribers can read gold-dust content from experts, access the digital version of previous issues, receive upcoming issues, be the first to be invited to Startups Magazine events and have the opportunity to have their own startup featured editorially.
Thanks to our partnership, Immerse Education students are able to access print and digital copies of Startups Magazine, attend Startups Magazine networking events, and even submit articles to be posted on the publications website.

Action-packed social programme
Outside of lessons, we are proud to offer a busy and diverse social programme to help you get the most out of your time in Oxford. This includes activities such as punting on the River Cam, zorb football and a murder mystery night in the college.
There are also two excursions during the programme, one day trip to visit Oxford and its constituent colleges, as well as an optional day out in London, seeing the city’s most famous landmarks as well as some free time for shopping. Those who choose not to travel to London are invited to afternoon tea in Oxford.
Activities and excursions are run by our team of friendly mentors – whose main job is to maximise your enjoyment.

Experience traditional 'Formal Hall'
Formal Hall is a traditional weekly meal that takes place in every college. This is an opportunity for students to dress up, dine by candlelight in the magical surroundings of an Oxford University college’s dining hall.
As an Immerse student, you will experience formal dinner three times during your stay – once per week in Oxford, as well as in an Cambridge University college on the excursion day.
Formal hall is truly a memorable occasion, so remember to bring some smart clothes!

All participants will be allocated to a college a few weeks before arriving, based on their dates and subject choice.
If you would like to stay in the same location as a friend/sibling – please let us know and we will do our best to arrange this, where possible.
Males and females have separate accommodation in every college, and there is wi-fi available throughout.

Module 1 - Introduction To Management
You will explore the components, processes, and objectives of management practice. Examine how policies, practices, and systems influence employee behaviour, attitudes, and performance, and explore the subsequent managerial tools that can be deployed. You will also be introduced to case studies as a method for testing management theory in practice. -
Module 2 - Negotiation
This session will focus on fine-tuning a specific set of relational skills: empathy and collective problem solving, the ability to spot opportunities for value creation (broadly defined), and the management of differences, to be seen as fair and objective and equipped to handle courageous conversations. -
Module 3 - Brand Management
Branding has become one of the very few strategies that can help to build a sustainable advantage over competitors. This brand management module highlights the strategic implications of branding while providing a comprehensive overview of brand management from both firms’ and consumers’ perspectives. This course identifies the core topics involved in brand management and enables participants to understand how firms build, measure, leverage, and manage brand equity. -
Module 4 - Develop Your Own Case Study
Throughout the programme, you will have the opportunity to research your own case study - choosing a particular industry, company or business leader that interests you. During a one day mini-conference, you'll share your findings with your class, and also learn from your fellow classmates.
