Immerse Education’s Health and Biotechnology Programme in San Francisco caters to high school students aged 15-18. Covering a variety of topics that explore the fusion of healthcare and technology, this program will cover scientific principles, their practical applications, and the real-world influence of health tech and biotechnology.
 This is a science camp with an industry twist.
An Exceptional Health & Biotechnology Summer Course in San Francisco
The Immerse Education Health & Biotechnology programme explores innovative healthcare solutions, genomics, medical technology advancements, and the ethical considerations that underpin these domains.
The principal objective of this programme is to delve into the complex intersection of health and technology, unravelling the potential of medical innovations to reshape healthcare landscapes.
Participants will actively:

Engage in Health & Biotechnology Industry Workshops
San Francisco is home to hundreds of pioneering organisations in the field of biotechnology. A visit to a campus provides an exceptional opportunity for students to explore the realm of health tech and biotechnology, witnessing the intersection of science, innovation, and healthcare.
Engaging with scientists, researchers, and professionals, students can learn about drug discovery, genomics, and the impact of biotechnology on medical advancements.
In partnership with a biotechnology pioneer, we will offer biotech lab experience. Students can participate in hands-on activities related to genetic research, drug development, and biotech innovations. Interacting with scientists, in interactive science labs, participants gain firsthand knowledge of healthcare advancements.

I would describe the Immerse Academic Insights programme as intellectually stimulating, diverse, inspiring, motivating. I’ve definitely enjoyed meeting new people from all around the world, it has been amazing. I’ve loved studying something that I’m so passionate about, and being around like minded people and learning with them has been an incredible experience.
We’ve done dissections and other practicals such as suturing and gone through a lot of content that I wouldn’t have learned at school. I feel like the Immerse course is really preparing me for higher education by giving me insight into what being a university student might be like.
I looked at the essay competition and it seemed like an incredible opportunity, so I applied for the essay competition, got a partial scholarship, and here I am!

San Francisco Summer School Programme with Immerse Education offers an enriching and immersive educational experience in one of the world’s most iconic cities.
