It has been one of the most amazing experiences I’ve had in my life. Honestly, I don’t want to sound cheesy, but I’ve met so many people and I’ve learned so much history and geography, especially in my class, because everyone is from all around the world, and I’m so glad! I have learned more in two weeks than I have done in the past 11 years at school.
I have enjoyed everything, especially talking with people – communication and meeting new cultures and learning about their traditions has been amazing, as well as getting to know the mentors, they’re so cool! I’ve learned so much about applications and universities and just how normal these students are – they’re not different from us, even though they study at Oxford or Cambridge. They will guide you through your experience and will help you with anything you need.

I’m finding this course really helpful to open my mind about new possibilities, to learn more about the whole field of engineering and all of the different areas I can study and work with in the future. Everything that I’ve learned is from a new perspective, it’s a different way of learning.
I think it’s a great extracurricular activity to put in my applications to university, and it’s also just helping me to decide exactly what I’m going to do at university. It’s been so helpful and has definitely changed my future.

Academic Insights programmes in Toronto
Immerse has been a life changing and never to be forgotten experience for me. I applied for immerse to further solidify my career decision and also to experience living alone at university. both of these experiences i fulfilled and I think that the friends I have made with the mentors, tutors and other fellow students are extremely valuable to me.
The tutors were extremely helpful and informative, I personally believe I had the best tutor, George, has he taught us a lot of hard content however that hard content was super interesting and with content related games that helped us memorise and retain the information taught. as well as George never got frustrated if we asked him to explain a concept or topic more than once instead, he explained the same topic over and over again until we all understand without getting annoyed. This made him very approachable and for us to be honest and comfortable around him.
